I think that this is a deliberately provocative thread, designed solely to tease and agitate the religious. In some respects this is as bad , if not worse, than the evangelistic threads. This is the atheist ic way of knocking on doors. Those who dismiss religion should so just that; ignore it and don't set out to provoke just for the fun of it.

Sadly, Dave passed away a few years ago, but this remains one of the best proofs of Bible prophecy, and the first part regarding Israeli history and the creation of the modern state is beyond argument.

Theland - I have always maintained the following approach -

I do not believe in God and have experienced nothing whatsoever so far to convince me of his existence, but endless minute-by-minute examples of how a 'loving God' cannot allow his children to suffer as they do.

But let's for the sake of argument, say that a nanosecond after I die, I am standing before him.

I have been the best person I can be, and the Bible tells me that a repentant soul will be admitted into heaven.

So if I say Sorry, I was wrong, then God will forgive me, and in I go.

Do you think that is a fair assessment of the way it will go - presuming that your version is right, and mine - instant oblivion - is wrong?
