Anybody Watching The Jackal Series

I had some reservations before watching it as I`m not sure Mr Redmayne is a good fit. In the end I lasted 10 minutes but mainly because, from the theme onwards, I thought the music was appalling.

Funny how you don't notice a good soundtrack but a bad one smacks you round the ears and makes something unwatchable.

Oddly enough I like it great story, not sure about Redmayne either and the music is sheet but the story makes it very watchable.

Redmayne put me off too, but then I read some good reviews and gave it a shot. It was pretty good, and I would recommend, though I'm still not sure Redmayne was the best casting.

His prospective nemesis appears less than athletic in the odd action scene in longshot.

That's doubtless for another thread though. 😆
