I am getting many callers to say they are terminating my internet connection that day and if I wish to stay press a number. I do not have a BT internet connection but still I keep getting these calls. There is no number to call back as it is withheld and no answer phone message is left. How do I stop this call which comes at different times of the day.
I think it is a scam

The calls are clearly a scam. Do not reply in any way. Just put the phone down. If you reply, the scammers will know that they have hit upon a live - or 'real' - number, and you might be contacted again.

It certainly is a scam and, since they can use the number they call from at will, it's not easy to block.
Last time they called me with that one I had an interesting conversation with him after telling him I didn't have internet; he even gave me my BT account reference number and I don't have any dealings with BT.
Do you have a BT landline? If so join their free Call Protect service. This should stop the calls.
Just had one from Talk Talk pretenders, I always just put the phone down without switching it off and let them talk to themselves for a bit. This way they can't scam anyone else until you hang up and you quickly get your name off their list and your number isn't sold on. I get about 1 cold call a month now, down from daily long ago.
John, good idea.
