Hello biddies. Lovely sunny day here. Just met a lady friend for coffee. Found it hard to breathe in my mask.today whatever anyone says! Mr N having a paper clear out from about last century!!
all very drab here today. I went to Sainsbury's to get some yoghurt and there was actually a short queue outside, the first one I've seen at a supermarket for months. Under cover, luckly, and I was inside in less than a minute, but I thought I'd be safe from bumping into the common people if I went at 4pm.
I then also proceeded to clear out a cupboard. Its amazing the cleans feeling you get after!
Anyone watch The sister? If so what was that ending all about??
Afternoon all
Drab here too and always seems to raining little or much.
Hope you're all well though and very belated birthday wishes to your OH Jno.
Nothing earth shattering to report. Same old, different days.
Neti ,I watched The Sister for about half an hour and gave up.It didn't hold my attention at all much as I like Russell Tovey.
I've been watching Waking the Dead on Iplayer.I wish they would do a rerun of Shoestring. I'm going to watch Rebecca on Netflix over the weekend.
So glad my new specs are square ,they fit my eyes exactly :)
Jno I am practically innumerate. Obviously I have the basic skills but hate anything to do with numbers. Mr N on the other hand loves numbers and he does sudoku.
oh, they're nothing to do with numbers, neti, you could use letters or Monopoly tokens if you want. The trick is just to make sure you don't have more than one of each in any row or box.
Just watched From Russia with Love the other night. But I think Robin and Marian is probably my favourite. Who would guess Audrey Hepburn was older than Sean Connery.
well, it looks as though fathers will still be able to attend births, should lockdown #2 go on longer than planned. jno jnr was worried - I had to explain that having fathers attend births is a historical aberration and my father never went near one.
34 years ago when hija was born in a private clinic husbands were discouraged and completely ignored during birth. And I for one was glad. It only took 25 mins so he didnt get bored. He went out after and got us both a pizza.
