I frequently get an error message when trying to send a Gmail, specially if it's replying to one:

"Oops... a server error occurred and your email was not sent. (#007)"

Just over the last month or so, and apparently at random. It won't save these emails as drafts, either.

Anyone know what's happening, or what I might do about it? (I have Hotmail and other email accounts but would prefer to use Gmail.)

There are various suggestions here, including: (a) simply log out of Gmail and log back in again ; (b) clear the cache and cookies from your browser ; and (c) if you're using Internet Explorer, use a different browser https://productforums.google.com/forum/#!topic/gmail/2RPrrWUUYzg Perhaps trying each of them might lead you to a solution?

hdmi cable, you say. Never heard of it but it does sound very modern.
Jno you are incorrigible!
I now have a small collection of the blessed things due to continually buying the wrong one
Yes woofy I am going that way. I already have a new hdmi cable somewhere but had to buy another as couldn't find it. I did find a cupboard full of scart to scart cables!!
oh those blooming things, they keep falling out.
Hello all
Well, get you Neti :) Can you come round and install my new doorbell please.
It's a Wifi one and I'm beginning to wonder wi the fi I bought it.Simple to install say the positive reviews on Amazon.Yeah right. I'll have to wait for a child to ride to the rescue.
Hope you're all ok and keeping well also your OH Jno.
Nothing exciting to report otherwise. We just tootle along and hope for the best.Quite a nice day here ,breezy and sunny.
I've bought a new wireless door bell but Iwanted one that worked on battery but used the wrong word in Spanish and although itnis wireless I have to plug the noise bit into an electric point so I havent really bothered. It will be the 3re door bell. We have one down the land by the main gate and then one by the front door. So this one I want at the top of the patio stairs by the garden gate. Because Spanish people do not appear to use doorbell and if they shout from the main gate or the patio gate or even the front door I rarely hear them. Yesterday I saw a packet on my car roof. It was damp but all gates were shut which means the postperson must have called and finally opened the gate ( which unusually opens outwards) and popped the packet on car and closed the gate and we never heard a thing! Scary! Must have been the day before I found it! It was my lilac hair colour!
My N is finally repairing the outside walls of the house.

it seems grand-hija is now due to arrive on 21 December with a C-section. OH looked concerned and said "that'll take it out of her"; I could only say "Isn't that the whole idea?"
what did OH throw at you?
Is that an elective c section?
Has Friday the 13th gone? Hija decided to come home early as she has a stinking cold so arrives in Monday. Then last evening the water heater blew all the electrics at 9pm! Good old Mr N sorted out the leccy and unplugged heater. This am he luckily had a new one in store room and has fitted that. Took a couple of hours . I'm quite pleased as that cupboard needed sorting so has now been sorted and a lot of rubbish binned. I used my Henry today and blimey its hard work! It's so strong I was so exhausted after vacuuming 3 rooms! Why ever did I think, 8 years ago that it was a light one? But it cleans beautifully. Mr N has made me another light sponge cake.
Very damp and overcast here.
And if I thought scarts were dodgy my hdmi is awful, keeps popping out of the slot. It's a thick cable and seems to want to twist the wrong way. It's in then its out! Cant cope!

don't know, neti, I didn't give the full interrogation, as I can't find my thumbscrews, but I got the impression they were concerned about something, so probably not. I suppose it may mean Christmas in hospital, depending how it goes.

We don't throw things at our sole carers here, woofgang, we know when our comfort hangs by a thread.
Afternoon all
Mizz day here ,rain and more rain.dark and dull.
Oh that's good news Jno .A firm date. That'll save us sitting up all night holding your hand:)
Nothing doing here. The only excitement being a Sainsbury delivery.
I've sent the doorbell back Neti so there's no need for you to make a special journey ..haha.Amazon will refund me,I said I ordered by mistake, and have ordered a much cheaper battery one. Don't forget The Crown starts tomorrow.
Hope you're all OK.
hello all. vie assez mouvmentee today. Sis goes home tomorrow so she had planned packing and stuff today when the local pharmacy rang to say did we still want flu vacs as they had spaces today...one at 10.15 and one mid afternoon. This was at 09.50! Rab is a bit creaky now, struggles to get in my car and I was lounging around after a shower so I shoved Sis into a taxi, told her to yell at me when she got back and sent her off. She usually gets her vac down here as its easier than going to her surgery and this year she really didn't want to go there as its a public transport ride for her and the surgery is quite cramped...also in a higher covid incidence part of the country...also odd times I react to the jab and she can take over dog care duties for the day or so that I need to get over it. She came back and threatened me with dire things if I ever did it again but forgave me and looked after Rab while I went and got mine later on. Just as well really as Boots, which is our other option, is still not giving appointments or operating a waiting list. I haven't flaked out this year but arm is v painful so if you hear a yell in the night, it will be because I rolled over. Yes HDMI's arent as bad as scarts but have a life of their own!
Weather has been awful here today, very wet and windy but quiet now thank goodness.

Sleep well and stay healthy all.
Hello. 9.45 and I'm in bed watching The Crown. Deep joy! Mind you I'm not sure it's the new one. Damn it!
Aww Des O'Connor has died aged 88. I liked him!
Yes it is the new one but recapping.
Oh poor Rab. I still think of him as a pup!
