window sizes
8 Answers
When I'm using my AOL (rather than IE) if I click on a link, then close the new window that has opened, the original window is the wrong size, how do I get it back to normal? I don't mean how do I resize it, I mean get it be be the right size already ie full screen. Thanks ( I hope that made sense)

When you get a 'small' window change it to 'full-size' but NOT by clicking the 'square'symbol in the top right-hand corner. Instead, move your cursor to the edges of the window, then click-and-drag to create a full-size window. Your PC should then remember the new (full) size as the default setting for displaying windows within that program..

I had the same problem with AOL and seem to remember that I had to change some settings/options in tools (probably?) when in an AOL page. That was about 2 years ago though and on dial up. AOL help line pepole were always very polite and tried hard but never actually sorted any of my 'early user' technical difficulties..I'm with BT now..
Sorry for the vague answer. I understand it is annoying but it is fixable. Play with the settings a bit. What can go wrong?:)
