Saudi Arabia - Biggest sponsor of terrorists?
While Bush blames Iran, he should look no further than Saudi Arabia as the real financiers of muslim terrorists.
"President George W Bush will face a frosty reception today during a visit to Saudi Arabia amid anger at America's continued detention of the kingdom's citizens at Guantanamo Bay.
Intense lobbying by Saudi Arabia has resulted in the release of more than 100 of its nationals, almost half in the past four months.
But talks today will be soured by the demand that the prison camp's remaining 13 Saudi detainees should be sent home at once."

Most of the 9/11 hijackers were Saudi citizens, but Bush wants to flog them $20Billion in weapons.
Should we be kow-towing to the Saudis just because they are sat atop of an ocean of oil?

Maybe its something to do with the world's biggest supplier of oil and without it the American economy would collapse.
But on the other hand another close ally of the US is Pakistan. They also under Masharaff assist in the war on terror. They don't have any oil but like Saudi Arabia is a breeding ground for terrorists.
What therefore is the USA up to? Could it be without regional bases they could not achieve world domination. When the UK went to war over the Falklands we had to rely on aircraft flying thousands of miles and could only get there by refuelling in mid air.

It wouldn't only bring a collapse to USA ,it would also effect

Hi fagidill. Yeah, I keep reading in my local paper about the BAE Saudi deal - with the angle of 'hey, our local workers are being kept in jobs by multi-billion deal'.
Irrespective of the terrorism issue, Saudi's track record on human rights is appalling. Public beheadings and woman having to cover up from head to foot are the norm. Are these really people we want to be supplying fighter planes to?
Love or hate the US (who with captial punishment don't have a great human rights record themselves), we would be sitting ducks without them. I doubt we could rely on any other country to defend us if World War Three broke out.
