There just doesn't seem to be any joined-up thinking where some speeding convictions are concerned.
Mrs Flop was convicted in 2010 for doing 92 in a 70 on the M4, got fined £550.00 (plus the victim surcharge tax) and received 5 points.
Mrs Flop doesn't work (we took the rather old and unfashionable view that we would like a parent to raise our children) and therefore my salary was taken into account.
Now whilst I think I earn a reasonable amount, it is significantly, massively, hugely, south of the reported £1m that Mr Pagni earns.
So, Mrs Flop was going slower than Mr Pagni, was on a road that has a higher speed limit than Mr Pagni was on, we earn a fraction of Mr Pagni's salary and yet we were fined more.
Doesn't make any sense at all.
