Well would you gness?.... I know I wouldn't...I have a greenhouse ;o)
And I have a shed. ;-)
A well used shed?
:o) As good as a greenhouse
Question Author
a bit better than a greenhouse unless you are an exhibitionist i think!
No complaints from Tony but a greenhouse is warmer.
At my age, Bednobs no-one would hang about to look. :-(
I have a 'shed with windows' ... ;)
Bednobs, enjoy and I anticipate maternity leave later in the year, hugs and enjoy xx
Sir Christopher Wren Hotel

and a little further away Pennyhill Park (though not cheap)
Pennyhill Park`s miles away from Eton. Runneymeade is nice but you need a car. I`ve put a question on our forum. I`ll let you know if anything interesting comes up.
Don't let Tony know that Dave....he'll want modifications here.

Oooooo.....bednobs....maternity leave! That would be so nice. x

thanks.
have you thought about Maidenhead? The Walton Cottages

or Marlow: The Compleat Angler or there used to be a nice pub the Hand and Flowers in the centre.

and if you wanted a majorsplurge, the Waterside Inn at Bray (though at that point, I would go for Le Manoir aux Quatres Saisons.
15 miles to Pennyhill from Eton.
The soundtrack to your weekend away bednobs. Enjoy. :)

thanks for your suggestions DT but as per my question there is a deal on a hotel in eton on groupon today which is why i'm considering eton
which one, bednobs?
I`m not sure what time they start (I`m thinking April) but you can do some really nice river cruises down the Thames. There is one that goes from Windsor to Maidenhead and back. That is a really pleasant (and fairly cheap) afternoon out. The Long Walk in the grounds of Windsor Castle is good. There is another walk that you can do at Runnymeade but I can`t remember the name. It`s probably Googleable though.
