I've just had a call to the home phone and it is a merry christmas greeting left via voicetext (automated voice) and it is from a mobile number that I don't have in my mobile contacts! I think someone has mis-keyed when dialing, lol How do voicetexts work from a mobile to a landline?

You text a landline number the same as you'd text a mobile number and a BT system phones you up and reads the text to you.

yes on the caller display on my landline it showed that my home number was ringing me, which was bizarre!
I wouldn't text you, I'd call to wish you compliments of the season. :-)
My daughter often does this to me as she thinks it's funny - the robot voice even says 'kiss kiss' if there are Xs at the end.

prudie this one did that too, an automated woman;s voice saying 'kiss kiss' is quite unnnerving lol
Perhaps it's one of those people who advertise or sell stuff that called you.
