You can't turn off the App

You can only uninstall it

I hate using an ipad to try and post videos, takes me ages.

I was in queue in Matalan waiting to pay, when this came on in piped music they were playing. I said to the girl serving me that it was unusual to hear The Smiths in a shop. She looked at me blankly. She'd never heard of The Smiths, or Morissey. Neither had all the people in the queue. It's a good job I didn't mention Girlfriend in a Coma...they'd have called security to escort me out!

At some point we become impervious to odd looks in public places - once in a waiting room a fellow was complaining loudly about how long he had waited .
