I'm just building up the energy to go and do my Tesco online shopping. I have logged in and trying to work out what to buy.
It's so much simpler than having to do it yourself.
JJ - I like bigger dogs (German Shepherds and Bullmastiffs) and the barks can be scary. But there is a little dog in the flats behind my building. It yaps and the noise goes right through me. I think that it annoys my moggies too - not sure that the dog would survive if they met up.
being nosey Wolfie - would you shop weekly or monthly since you are on your own like myself. I have too much food in the freezer that I am trying to cut down on buying and hope just to get out every cuppla days and buy fresh.
JJ - at least once a week and sometimes more. I have to buy dry and wet cat food and that weighs a ton and the cat litter is very heavy.
When I was able to work I used to pop into Tesco almost every day for shopping. I go down to the Tesco Metro maybe once or twice a week for small stuff.
Try it - it might not be for you. You have a car so you won't be carrying heavy bags far. I have to walk the long walk (0.2 of a mile !) and am on the second floor of the flats.
I buy a load of rubbish - but you only live once (hopefully)
Don't know what I would do without my car for carrying shopping - dog food, dry and wet and potatoes in particular. And of course i can just carry it into the house from driveway. Yes online shopping is also great for the house-bound too.
