Strawberries

Bought a punnet of strawberries yesterday in my local green-grocers. Went to take some for breakfast and every one of them have fur on them. Did cost me nearly £3.00.

Was the fur not visible through the packaging?

No top layer looked ok. Ach I wouldn't like to as I like them all round there.

Same happened to me with a punnet of raspberries.

If you take them back...and you're a regular customer...I'm sure they'll appreciate you telling them. The berries may be supplied already packaged...so they may need to have a word with their suppliers.

Oh I will say to them - I am surmising that the strawberries didn't sell quickly and so they had them longer. Did get one or two and they were gorgeous.
