not that old about 3-4 years old. = it is digital and the button when pressed hard comes 100 (wattage?) then you press 2 for 2 mins whatever.

The amazing thing it works sometimes and others it doesn't

I gave it a blatter last night gently with a hammer and cloth and the thing started working. Now I have tried it again and it is not working.

Do know there is just one tiny thing wrong - anybody help. or shall I get a new one.

Possibly a loose connection somewhere. Could take it to a workshop and get it checked over.

I'd not recommend looking at it yourself. There are some v v high voltages in there to create the microwaves.

I have done all the tapping I could do apart from breaking it - but the new one is lovely. Small compact with a mirror door - it has really changed my kitchen and now I am back to not wanting to cook in the kitchen LOL
