Had to call into work and say I'd not be in but in all truthfulness I'm not in a fit enough state to go - just adore my job.

Don't think it's really anything Gastric definitely something Renal my back feels really hot and achey hoping the anti-bi's kick in, got 2 paracetamol on board hot water bottle will be next.

Going to go get yet another shower and more fresh pjs and might take my duvet back down to my bed.

Hope you all are well and have a great day

I think it should be SSP, statutory sick pay.
Discretionary sick pay, over 2 years service you get a sliding scale up to 18 weeks. If you're salaried you shouldn't lose the 1st 3 days either.
No SSP you get if less than 2 years worked at a company, your employer/payroll claims that for you and tops up your pay to contracted hours flat rate.

Ah right.

No I don't get that. I've not even been there a year.

But my boss is really good anyway. I'm going in tomorrow and see how it goes. It's only a few hours so will ease me in and I can re coup over the weekend if need be
what a load of tosh - it depends on the company you work for - some companies don't give any occupational sick pay at all
