Feeling Old!

I'm only mid/late forties but am astonished by the number of my peers who are becoming grandparents.

An entire generation seems to have passed me by!

I'm about the same age as you Eccles. No grandparents among me and my friends. I had my child at 21, while my friends were late 20s/early 30s.
My son is getting married next month and his fiancée is quite keen to have a child, so I could be a gran soon. Eek!

I'm still waiting be become a parent, at this rate I'll be late 750s before I become a grandparent.
