These include The Queen's Helicopter Flight (part of the Royal Household), No. 32 (The Royal) Squadron of the Royal Air Force (RAF), chartered civil aircraft, but most often by scheduled commercial flights, normally flying with British Airways, the flag carrier airline of the United Kingdom.'
Flying with the RAF in theory costs nothing beyond the fuel cost, similarly flying first class (how else?) with BA is minimal.
£24,000 for a private commercial jet, Brussels to Rome 2 day return claimed as a 'taxi' is quite another thing. But if those who are happy with these daily EU excesses are prepared to continue footing these bills then OK, but please count me out.

gulliver, why did you just pick the bit of the post that suited your argument and ignore the rest that explained it?
To spell it out as it seems you cannot work it out: The RAF is paid whatever it does, even sat on it harris, therefore to use it to transport the Royal family in theory only costs the fuel and a bit of maintenance perhaps.

It isn't only about Juncker;
'The European Union is facing an expenses scandal after it had to admit that its senior officials had claimed tens of thousands of pounds to hire private jets and stay at luxury hotels.
Those embroiled include Jean-Claude Juncker, the president of the European Commission, as well as the head of EU foreign affairs, Federica Mogherini.
The figures, published after three years of “Kafkaesque” delays, reveal that EU officials spent more than £90,000 on chartering planes which are described on their expense claims as “air taxis”.'
These are only the figures for over a short period, which have had to be prised out of the commission by an ombudsman.
