was this called bermuda, if it is when did it have a name change,cant get an answer googling it

No - it's a completely different island
Totally different islands.
A ten hour and 40 minute flight from Barbuda to Bermuda

oh thanks i though it was one of the island in the "irma" path now i see it's far away from those islands cheers

wow 6hrs 45 from new york to london but 10hrs 40 for that flight got to be a smaller prop aircraft ?
That's what I was thinking - you could fly from London to Tokyo in that time

all flights seem to be via US that explains it
Just to clarify Barbuda belongs to Antigua, same government and the correct name for that country is Antigua & Barbuda which is the two islands.
And from here you fly to Antigua and then either get the short flight or ferry over to Barbuda.
I was the same and apparently Bermuda is not even part of the Caribbean.
It belongs to north America.
^^ The Caribbean is in North America.
Bermuda is a British Oversees Territory, it doesn't belong to America.
Politically, it doesn't; geographically, it does - like Greenland.
