They are what we call benign compound naevi. No need to see a Doctor unless they start to grow, change shape or colour, start itching, bleeding or crusting.

A Dermatologist might take clinical photography and then take more photographs 6 months later for comparison. An examination under a dermatoscope would look for things like telangiectasia and arborising vessels.

They don't look sinister to me though - I've got one or two very similar dotted around.

PP - I am 22 weeks on Wednesday and having a scan a week tomorrow as baby wouldn't comply on the 20-week scan. Hopefully we'll get the sex and essential measurements next week.
