A friend called me up today asking me to spell "beautiful" - no problem I spelt it back.

This wee friend can call for different wee words (I deffo don't mind but think she gets embarrassed - bless her)

Can I buy her a little like battery spell checker. Thanks all.

ok Mamy - I have one of pretty exactly the same but mine are for telephone numbers.

Mamy - what I am amazed at - if the person who can't spell - how does she enter the words to be spelt (if she doesn;t really know them bless her) you know what I mean

i am trying to wee xmases for her - this would be good.
I'm not sure as to whether pocket spellcheckers can do it but, on a PC, simply typing a rough guess at a word into a Google search will often find the correct spelling (without needing to go any further).
That long since I had a pocket spell checker, I can't recall.

no Chris - no pc - - so it would have to be a wee gadget - i am sure you will find me one - thanks
It says in the reviews that someone tested it as suitable for a child by deliberately misspelling words, so it must correct - or give you a list of alternatives.
Speaking into cell phones brings up spellings.
