I worked with someone many years ago (at Tetleys brewery in Leeds) who tried to visit every pub in the uk. I think there were about 80,000 at the time. It struck me as a) logistically impossible due to time and b) dangerous as there were/are several pubs in Leeds alone that no outsiders were welcome in.
BTW, Mikey, I was in Caerphilly a couple of days ago. The castle is impressive.
Glad you enjoyed Caerphilly Castle Zacs....it is indeed, as you say, impressive. Think what it must have looked like to the locals in the 13th Century !
