The tributes are well deserved. He was truly one of a kind.The world certainly needs a lot more happy people.

Many years ago we went to one of his concerts, sat on the front row. Really enjoyed it, laughed till I cried, lady sitting next to me said, " you really enjoyed that didn't you" I said yes. She said I live with that every day, I'm his partner!

Went to see him when I was 11 with my Mam and Auntie and laughed till we cried! Brilliant comedian, very quick witted and never crude or rude. Not like today’s lot. Him and Bruce will be creating mayhem up in heaven now. The angels won’t be able to do anything for laughing.

I missed the one on BBC. That's a pity. Posted on here about Channel 5 early in evening but didn't see any for BBC.

Saw him at the London palladium many years ago . Brilliant .should have brought a spare pair of pants .

I saw him live about 8 to 10 years ago. Great show and, obviously, went on until about 2 o'clock.
He didn't get down here again, unfortunately, too far south I expect.
Glorious day here - been clearing out the shed a bit. My late OH never thew anything away!
