If that were to be true, I'd welcome it gladly, Zacs. As I think I've tried to explain ad nauseum, whether the EU has an affect on my daily life is neither here nor there. The fact that they might be able to is unacceptable to me. In short, it's not what they do or don't do, it's the fact that they can do it.

Whoever is MP when we finally exit, it'll be right they hold the reins. They will be who were voted in, albeit indirectly, to do the job. Would be nice though if they took a leaf out of Cameron's book and asked the majority to decide on subjects more often. They've already proved they're capable of making the right decision, even when the politicians proved to be clueless. Next job must be to find a system where the politicians actually represent the true requirements of their constituents.

If I were a banker I’d be quite hopeful that they were giving way to EU demands rather than those of their own backwoodsmen.

I doubt many claim that they are negotiating well. But I see the Grauniad opens with that remainer NHS lie when some claimed £350m was to go to the NHS yet no one ever suggested it. Never give up, some, do they. A bit like Sta... sorry Putin claiming they didn't try to murder UK citizens when it fools no one save those who are determined to believe.
