Togo, I tried him on some Aptimil Baby Porridge the other week but he just kind of smiled and let it fall out of his mouth (splutter!).

I might give him another go tomorrow.
Hmmm....I have the energy of a racehorse.....the patience of a saint, NoM.....but I think I'll save both for something a bit older....thank you anyway....x
Gin....
Hi, Shoota.....nope....Poitín....x
Just got a new granddaughter, NM. I'm in that bracket too!

Clarion, his paternal grandparents can't get enough of him. Oddly enough he's an absolute angel whenever he's in their company. In fairness he's very little trouble to us, but these last few days ...

Congratulations btw, Clarion.
Congratulations Clarion! x
I only asked because you said he was sucking his mitts NoM. If he cannot yet swallow instinctively he is not ready, but if he is putting his fist in his mouth he may now be able to. It happens almost overnight at that age. Haha wait till he is eating solids. Be ready to realise that parents potty train kids, not for the kiddies benefit but for their own! You will not enjoy that stage. Most parents lose weight because they cannot bear to eat. :))
Thanks folks. She's a little darling!

You may have a point there, Togo. Until recently it required real effort to get him to swallow his Calprol but tonight it just seemed to disappear when I squirted it into his mouth. Ergo, he might be ready to swallow solids. I'll try him tomorrow and let y'all know.
Where do you live NoM, I'll pop round later and pick him up (lol) x

In the jolly old Black Country, Hereiam. ;-)

He's actually been making up for lost sleep today. He feel asleep on his little playmat just now. x
Aww bless, little darlin' x
You've hardly started yet - the best is to come! Many years ago my daughter was playing up in the checkout queue. I complained about her behaviour and the woman behind me said " my son's six, just wait!" Someone else said her daughter was 12 and that was the worst and so it continued until an elderly lady in the next queue trumped us all " my daughter's 55 and it doesn't get any easier" good luck!
