Unwanted Caps In Word 2007
7 Answers
I'm using Word 2007 and if I write a poem and after the first line I hit Enter for a new line, the first word on that new line is a capital letter, which I don't want. How do I stop this happening to each and every letter, unless I physically want one? Ta Muchly.

I really, really, really HATE the way that Microsoft Word forces things like this onto users (and, to make it worse, makes it difficult to disable them!)
Click the 'Office' button (in the top left corner).
Click on 'Options'.
In the 'Word Options' window, click 'Proofing'.
Click 'AutoCorrect Options'.
Click to remove the tick next to 'Capitalize the first letter of sentences'.

Very Many Thanks Dave and Chris. Dave, I managed to read that link, interesting stuff in there, might buy the book. Chris, your info is as near as in the book. When you say click, do you mean with mouse - I can't use a mouse, does checking with space bar do same or Enter. Very Ta to you Both though.
