Woke up this morning to a "winter wonderland". First snow of the year - looks lovely from behind glass! Hope it disappears before I have to drive this afternoon.

Snowed first thing this morning here in Bedfordshire but the sun is now shining brightly and it's all disappeared. Still very cold though.

We had a really strange snow this morning, more like frozen rain, but a really hard frost.

I'm in Stoke, and that's the North Midlands, and it has arrived here, but stopped after a bit of covering.

I'm waiting with baited breath for the poor sap who draws the short straw on the TV news, and has to stand outside in a North Face jacket in a blizzard, telling me that it's snowing.

They do it every year, and every year I shout at my telly!
