In response to Nailit’s observation that “It’s gone a bit quiet on here”, in an effort to generate a little discussion that might be of interest to all, ASSUMING THE MAN JESUS EXISTED, who do you think he might have been – and what are your reasons for reaching your conclusion?
No.
Neither does it prophecy the vote in the United Nations.
Israel was not a nation for over 2000 years, yet the prophecy concerns the OUTCOME, the result, the fulfillment of the prophecy.
What do you want Nailit?
The name of the hot dog seller outside the U.N?
Come on. Think.
Naomi - Your pride blinds you.
You will never find God until you ditch it and adapt some humility.
The Bible will not burst into your psyche without an invitation and a commitment.
Inspired by God, do you really think it can be simply understood like something off your shelf?
Not at all.
Theland, will you please stop your personal attacks. They have no place in this discussion.
//A willingness to not rule out ALL the evidence?//
I don’t rule out evidence. If it’s there I acknowledge it but prophecy fulfilled purposely by human means, as in the case of the foundation of the State of Israel, or the placing of Mary in Bethlehem for the birth of the Messiah, or having Jesus ride into Jerusalem on a donkey, is not evidence. It is the result of human endeavour.
