We stayed in the Avenue Park guest house in Torquay a while back and it was very good.

Ummmm: The trick with TripAdvisor is to see how many negative reviews there are (which can't be deleted by the relevant hotel or restaurant) and then to compare that with the total number of reviews (which might include a few fake ones, although that's actually quite rare). Orestone Manor has only 4 poor reviews out of a total of 735
