That's what I was thinking helly and to describe Gordon McRae as that older man well! :-) I fell in love with him first time I saw the film and I still think he's gorgeous in it now. And yes I did cry as usual.

I've never been much of a fan of musicals, though the first movie I'd ever seen was 7 Brides for 7 Brothers. My sister took me to Radio City Music Hall to see it...that was a BIG deal then.
