We have had a bill from our factoring agent passing on an outstanding electricity charge covering Feb 2019 to May 2020, ie 15 months. I have a feeling legislation was passed recently saying you could only be charged for outstanding bills of up to 12 months only. Am I right?
The Ofgem rule only applies to 'household and microbusiness energy customers', so if you're running a business (other than a 'micro' one, whatever that might be) it won't apply to you.
