How Do You Get Britbox?

Hi we are thinking of getting Britbox.How do you buy it? Do you have to buy a box from Amazon or supermarket and how much is subscription? We r not tech minded so any help would be grateful received.Thanks.

If you've got a smart tv or a tablet you can probably get it on there.

I won't - too mean to subscribe to it.

If you've got a smart TV, go to its app store to see if the Britbox app is available for download. If it is, you simply need to download the app. You then use your computer (or other internet-enabled device, such as a mobile phone or tablet) to sign up for the service. That will provide you with a code that you enter into the app on your TV to get it working.

If you've not got a smart TV, or if you've got a smart TV but the Britbox app isn't available for it, you'll need to buy a Google Chromecast (£30 from Argos, PC World, etc. e.g. https://www.argos.co.uk/product/8679756 ) to plug into an HDMI port on your TV. That will render it 'smart' (and with the Britbox app available to it), so that you can then proceed as above.

Not sure why anyone in the Uk would buy it.
It is aimed at people abroad.

Everything on BritBox should be accessible from iPlayer, ITV Hub, and 4 On Demand.

I wanted to get it only for Spitting Image which is coming up soon.
I bought a subscription to BritBox and an Amazon Smart thingy for my non-smart telly, but couldn’t get it to work.

I only want it for Spitting Image like Cloverjo.I am not happy because they are not putting it on BBC1 etc.

I was unaware of the Spitting Image show being exclusive to BritBox.

I can subscribe to BritBox via the AppleTV app which I already have on my FireStick, iPad and iPhone. Seems very straight forward.

If you bought an Apple device in the last 12 months you can get AppleTV for free.

It is primarily aimed at the overseas market, eventually in 25 countries.
You do not have to subscribe, as I said above, nearly everything is on the terrestrial streaming services.
Premiering Spitting Image on the service is a bit bizarre.
