Don't know Belfast very well, is Bedford st near St Georges market and has that been closed because of the virus?
Question Author
Yes Vulcan - it did look like the market but it is a good bit away particularly when you are carrying heavy vegetables. Perhaps there was a link between St George and Bedford Street.

Like people were panic buying - all the vegetables of the day - cramming them into big bags like they were never going to see food again.
Don't you look at your local news online JJ? didn't take me long to find out

The vegetables at Stormont were being given away but there were no takers

LOL at Ichkeria.

Thanks for the links - that's great selling off the veggies for a very worthy cause.

Prudie I usually look at the Belfast Telegraph but more times than not it doesn't update quickly.
