Paigntonian, I agree with your OP and would particularly address it to those who tell other posters they’re posting too much or they’re on here too much. For those alone or housebound the AnswerBank can be a lifeline - their only communication with the outside world - so to those sour-minded critics from me, just put a sock in it - and a very Merry Christmas to you.

Iv'e never told anyone that they are on here too much ( not that I can recall anyway )

Good point though - I do notice that there some posters on here a lot and must confess I did not see it from that angle .
