Anybody of a heavy weighted telephone with caller display. I bought phone for somebody for Christmas but when you lift the handset the phone moves as it is too light.

nope I suggested Blu Tak myself but the phone sits on a very highly polished table and she wouldn't want the table to be marked.

What type of phone is it? Can it be hung on a wall?

Put it on a mouse mat. They are designed not to move, even on a polished surface.

what is causing the phone to move? Even an incredibly light base shouldn't move if the wires are at an appropriate length
