I can be lazy today, after a wee bit of shoplifting in Dursley and Cam. Which suits me as I woke up as tired as when I went to sleep. Oh well, no doubt something will occur to alter that.

Hi LJ I'm ok Jens not to bright, her toe was redressed by district nurse yesterday. I'm going to try and wean her of of liquid based morphine painkillers they don't seem to being have much effect, except making her a bit "do Lally" I will check with GP on Monday to see if there are any alternatives.

Does the morphine actually work? If so it might be a case of a trade off between extra do-lalliness and comfort. Which painkillers has she tried before? does she have something like regular paracetaml?

Bednobs Jen is still in pain with oramorph, she also has tramadol prescribed @ 50mg tablets at 1 or 2 taken 4 times a day.

does she take anything regularly? Does she take paracetamol? I wish someone would do a hollistic pain assessment on her, as i'm sure her pain could be managed better (from what you say)

Yes emmie have some liquid morphine if pain gets really bad.

emmie will try another dose of morphine this evening to see if it helps

Bednobs not thought about holistic approach thanks I will investigate what's available, but visits might be difficult with covid, but I will investigate.
