Is there a need to curb the increasing use of brackets within comments when a simple comma would suffice?

It seems to be the new thing (overtaking 'so') as a thing.

See what I did there? :-P

foo dare! you cant exactly say that propa english is used exclusively in the many tangled threads of AB

Brackets may illustrate ( let us be quite clear about this) an embedded thought ( come to think of it - two or three)
I like a bracket. A comma indicates a break in the syntax of a sentence. Brackets indicate an ‘aside’ which is relevant, but slightly off the main subject matter.

Anyway, who made you the AB English police Doooogie?
