The Long Awaited

Curry box from Aktar @ Home has arrived. The box itself was much bigger than I imagined and everything was so well packaged.

There's enough food to feed an army.

One of the curries we're having tonight is slow-simmered beef brisket. There are pieces of meat in there the size of my fist (okay, I do have quite small hands).

The pulao rice smells heavenly. I normally have a spoon of rice if that but tonight I'm looking forward to that part too.

I'm happy to report that the food last night was delicious. We had chicken, beef and aubergine. Tonight we are having mutton, chickpea and lentil.

I am definitely looking forward to visiting his actual restaurant and sampling the tasting menu in a few weeks' time.
