For the first time in nearly a year we have just been out to a restaurant (my golf-club) & had a nice meal - superb rump steak with a creamy pepper sauce, with Pommes (chips to you :0) ), salad, & Weizenbier (wheat beer) on a sunlit terrace, wonderful! As Churchill said, " This is not the end, but this is the beginning of the end" ( I hope)

Has anyone else been able to venture forth to a restaurant yet, & if so, what did you have?

Not a restaurant, but been out to pubs for meals a few times. Going out for Sunday lunch again on Sunday ! The last meal I had out was homely, comfort food - steak pudding, chips, peas and gravy.

I slipped her a bit of delicious steak under the table, but I don't think dogs care what it is, it just goes down in one gulp.
The pub we're going to on Sunday allows dogs and guess who is coming with us - yes, my little Jill ! She's so well behaved and never causes any bother, little love.

Lady dogs are, in my limited experience better behaved.

I took my GSD/Bullmastiff cross out for dinner at a friend's house once. He pinched all the garlic bread - by the time we got to him it was gone.

The walk home was windy and smelly.
Yes, went to a small local independent pizza restaurant with work colleagues yesterday, sat outside and had a lovely time.
No, not yet. Sat outside at a cliff cafe, with a bacon bap, served by masked staff.
David - Zorro was your waiter?
Sorrow, as I had to pay.....
Been out a couple of times recently to our local restaurant that takes dogs. Once with friends that we hadn't seen for nearly a year, and then again yesterday evening. Life feels normal here, except for masks until you are at the table. Four meals out in 2 years! Felt so relaxed!
Steak and ale pie, chips and peas and a pint of speckled hen, in a town centre pub when out shopping with a friend
