Cant get to sleep so watching the rubbish on early morning tv.Storage Wars must be some kind of a wind up.Idiots with more money than sense bidding thousands of dollars for old junk.Seriously?

I think that is an American series, I saw one episode a while back.
Channel 4 did something similar a few weeks ago, Bidding Wars, a UK series where people bid on pallets with little idea of the contents. I saw one episode.

The producers really go out of their way to find such a large collection of totally unlikable people.

I've watched it a few times and they do find valuable stuff. I often wonder about the back story. Who owned the stuff? What happened? Why did they stop paying the rent etc.

There has to be more 'losers' than 'winners' otherwise the storage facility owner would just open the lockers and sell the stuff themselves
