Haven’t put this in Chatterbank because Buenchico doesn’t like it, which is fair enough.
It’s definitely news though in light of today’s events.

//Let's not forget that it took the Tory party two months of not doing any work to finally whittle it down to this class act.//
Don’t tell fibs! Boris worked his cojones off fitting in those two holidays, a jaunt in a Typhoon jet and a couple of other jolly’s in the space of 3 months as a squatter. That’s serious commitment to hard work.

From Sky News:
Will Liz Truss outlive a lettuce? 'Probably not' says former Bank of England economist
Liz Truss will "probably not" outlive the shelf life of a lettuce, according to a former member of the monetary policy committee of the Bank of England.
The first comparison between the prime minister and the leafy vegetable was made by The Economist.
The Daily Star newspaper is currently running a live stream featuring a lettuce to establish whether the salad vegetable will, in fact, outlast the PM.
Professor Danny Blanchflower told Sky News: "There are all these things about 'does she have the shelf life of a lettuce?' and I think the answer is probably not."
Lettuces tend to last around a week, depending on how they are stored.
Part of his reason for thinking this was the news conference this afternoon.
Prof Blanchflower said: "Well I thought the press conference was an absolute disaster."
He said that Ms Truss did not understand "what the real issue here is" - which is the markets and their reaction to the mini-budget, and not the politics of the government.
