The 70s were great for music but terrible for novelty songs.
Lieutenant Pigeon had one huge hit that everyone remembers. they had a follow up in similar style that barely troubled the top 20, "Desperate Dan". the B side of this is possibly the maddest few minutes ever committed to 7" vinyl - it's 'kin nuts.......
