They are not frightened of authority, or of revolution if it comes. France has been very unstable at grass-roots level for many, many years now. OK it is 8 years since we left, but I'll vouch for the passions and the 'Fraternite' bit under pressure.

I did say before that I would watch with interest. Still waiting to see if the farmers are joining in with their loads of manure to dump. I think it can be assumed that this time they are really, really cheesed off.

10 days of riots, up until Wed, in Paris and still nothing on our "main news".

Then 5 of the main banks in France raided in another investigation into tax evasion and money laundering in the EUSSR. Is this the bribe money that is handed out in suitcases to the corrupt eeyoo MEPs for rinsing?
