Been going on for over an hour,rotating round the Birmingham dip, heads thumping but it's great to watch from up here.

That is a big one. The last one we had in West Norfolk was about three weeks ago.

Still going.... So much rain too, can barely see across the road at times
I'm in Montreal, and we had a biblical storm two days ago - I have never seen forked lightning, or heard thunder that loud, ever, it was actually scary.

There has been really high temperatures and humidity here, and then it's been OK for the last two days, just really hot, but dry heat, and now another storm is brewing again.

Flying home Sunday night, fingers crossed for the take-off!!
I've been looking in on lightningmaps.org and could see that Birmingham and the West Midlands are getting a serious battering.

It seems to be easing off now, but theres more dark clouds coming up from South east
Nothing here till an hour ago (Nth Manchester), but definitely persisting down now!
