Can be expected when recent world events has cost dearly, folk aren't willing or able to ride the austerity years and demand pay proportionate to the new prices. It's going to take some time to settle. But there are plenty of other priorities, such as telling the WHO and WEF where they can get off, and finding the guts to tell the ECHR the same, plus securing our southern border. And that doesn't count the actions needed to please the electorate before the next GE.
