Cairo Airport

In October I'm getting connecting flights at Cairo airport and I've about 10hrs between flights. I thought it would be a good opportunity to take the kids to see the Pyramids etc but don't want to be carrying our luggage around all day. Does anyone know if there's anywhere in the airport to store luggage in between flights?

I’m pretty sure there are storage facilities at Cairo but if you’re getting a connecting flight your luggage may be transferred automatically so you won’t see it between flights. Contact your airline and ask. Security is tight there so he prepared for several checks.

When you check in your luggage should be tagged to your final destination and if you do have to go through customs it should be taken from you and delivered to your connecting flight. Contact the airline or travel agenvy

takes about an hour each way but maybe 2 hour if you have to wait for a bus

Plenty of taxis. Be prepared for a hair-raising ride! Cairo is manic.
