I’m going to use the word ‘woke’ and the phrase ‘cancel culture’. I know there’s some on this board who don’t feel there are woke people and don’t think there is a cancel culture, but they’re wrong.

I always wryly smile when people like Linehan, who has done absolutely nothing wrong and whose views chime with 99% of the population, are cancelled for ‘inclusivity’ reasons, because what the woke cancellers are doing is demonstrating they are not inclusive.

It’s quite clear that these people, who will without a single shadow of a doubt will trumpet their belief in free speech, when what they actually mean is they only believe in free speech and inclusivity when it’s the ‘correct’ view.

They are weasels and TTT’s description of them as fascists is correct.

I take that as they know they can’t defend the venues who have cancelled Linehan.

I'm fine with a venue deciding they don't want to host him, and with him finding somewhere else. It's called living in a free country - and a capitalist country, where venues can decide how they'll do their best business.
