I can remember feeling very frustrated watching it as I felt some people knew more than they were letting on.
Was it a friend, or did she have a sister?
There was someone who I just felt was holding something back.
I also found it strange that her fiancee wasn't featured in the programme.

I remember it well. It is one of the modern mysteries. The murder was well planned and the culprit could have had some kind of grudge against her, or her neighbour.

I am from her home town so remember the day well. The clinical nature of it suggests a professional hit job, Serbian link or otherwise. We can probably all agree it wasn't Barry George

Did the police ask the BBC what she was going to be presenting in the future, did the BBC give them an answer?

^ I don't. If she hadn't announced it, someone else would. If a 'hitman' was going to target someone they would have targeted the producer of the programme not the mere announcer.
