Should Masterchef Be Paused?

Culture Secretary, Lisa Nandy, has held talks with the BBC regarding allegations against Gregg Wallace and MP Rupa Huq said the BBC should consider pausing MasterChef while Wallace is investigated.  I'm happy never to see Wallace's face again but for the sake of everyone else involved in the series I'd suffer it.

They gotto fill the air time with summat (cheap) & reality shows seem to be the way it's going. I suppose M/chef is one of the least objectionable.

The BBC doesn't make Masterchef, Hazi.  If the BBC didn't broadcast it, Endemol would sell it to another channel.

Like many programmes I have thought that masterchef was past its sell by date anyway. The fact that Greg is stupid has little relevance and he needs to put his hands up.

Some of the things he says make me laugh, Bazile, like describing lovely food as 'a kiss on a plate' - but what's come to light recently hasn't made me laugh - not one bit.   It transpires he's an arrogant, ignorant creep who appears to keep what little brain he possesses in his boxer shorts - if he ever puts them on.

I have always assumed that the public persona of everyone in the media is just that - not the real person.  It saves a lot of disappointment.
