Estate agents charge outragous fees for doing nothing, solicitors take your teeth out and what is stamp duty all about?. I can understand the land registry fees as the paperwork is quite involved and the people dealing with it have to be paid, but even this is being stream-ined by computerisation.
I would like your views on the estate agents chunk though, they take the most and do the least.
