I was thinking about umbrellas the other day as I was walking down the road in the rain. It's a good job they're water proof, isn't it.

I like your idea James. You see , I have absolutely no luck with umbrellas at all. It doesn't matter whether I buy an expensive one or a cheaply priced one , they either blow inside out one too many times , break the spokes and collapse or the top part blows clean off and goes on it's merry way high in the sky , leaving me feeling like an idiot , holding the bottom half ! Therefore , since it serves no purpose whatsoever in doing what it is supposed to do - shield me from the rain - I welcome your idea for a novelty umbrella because if it's going to fall to pieces on me anyway , at least I can console myself with the fact that it served a purpose as a pick me up snack !!!

I always find it funny to imagine that the umbrella's are invisible. Then everyone would be walking round holding there thumb up!! (sorry small things amuse me!)
